Firstly - Happy 19th Wedding Anniversary to my darling wife Tracy - thank you for holding the fort and looking after our 3 beautiful children so I could undertake this wonderful experience. I love you lots and will think of you all day.x

02:30 - What an incredible night - catching up with everyone - lots of tequila shots and karaoke.

21:00 - Feeling tired - my phone is buggered from getting damp. Going to meet the Camino family!

15:30 - got into my hotel - I am not a fan of booking.com - it is 1km from the city centre - not 50m. Nice room - but most significantly - a bath - what a treat!!!\

12:30 - Debs and I have picked up our Compestela!! Time to find hotels and rest.

11:28 - We are on the outskirts of Santiago - still another 3km before we get to the Cathedral - but almost there.

11:00 - Making good progress - It is lovely sharing the last day with Debs, but she is a lot faster than me now. The weather has turned to moderate rain, but it is not too bad.

Santiago in sight - just another 5km to go.

07:50 - breakfast with Debra, Suzanne and Marie from Hungary. Its remarkable how with the Camino you ebb and flow with people and make friends along the way - I first met Marie and Suzanne on day 5, when they were picking Blackberrys.

06:59 - well here it is after 2 weeks of walking every day, I am just 20km away from Santiago. I am going to be walking the first part with Debora who I started the journey with 2 weeks ago.

Can't believe J am nearly there!!
